  • specially designed triple chamber conduits to accommodate
  • plumbing, electrical and data are incorporated every 600mm
  • can be made on-site from local materials or in a factory and transported
  • resistant to termites, fire and flood from outside and inside
  • can be almost fully recycled at the end of the life of the building
  • with a TechTilt wall, you simply drop services down the vertical cavities included as standard design

Insulated Concrete Wall Panels

TechTilt insulated concrete wall system uses Continuous insulation (CI) providing benefits in reducing thermal bridging, which occurs when there are breaks in the insulation layer, allowing heat to transfer through the building envelope more easily.

By providing a continuous layer of insulation around the building, CI helps maintain consistent indoor temperatures, reducing the need for heating and cooling.

SPECIFICATION GUIDE

The envelope walls shall be constructed using the TechTilt concrete walling panels, incorporating an external structural (100mm thick) and internal (75mm thick) concrete panel encasing a continuous insulated board, comprising of a closed cell rigid thermoset phenolic insulation core (50mm, 60mm or 75mm thick) with composite facings on both sides manufactured by Kingspan® Insulation. The finished concrete panels shall be manufactured under the strict specifications of TechTilt Building Systems.

TechTilt’s use of Kooltherm insulation achieved an 8.2-star energy rating for a South Australian home, significantly enhancing its thermal efficiency and reducing energy costs.

Conduit System

TechTilt has developed a conduit system that incorporates multiple chambers for different services within a single structure, each chamber can be used for different services or utilities, such as electrical wiring, data cables and water pipes. With three chambers, different types of services can be segregated for safety and organisation. For instance, power lines, data cables, and communication wires might each have their own dedicated chamber protecting the services from interference from other services.

TechTilt has developed a junction box to accommodate typical GPO and plumbing services that is interchangeable for all its conduit system as they provide access points for making connections or splices in the wiring or piping. These boxes are also important for maintenance and troubleshooting.

TechTilt‘s insulated concrete walling system embeds conduits into concrete during the panel manufacturing which offers several advantages.

Overall, a conduit system with three chambers for electrical and plumbing services, incorporating junction boxes, offers a versatile and efficient solution for organising and protecting various utility lines within a building or structure and is suitable to be used in any concrete panel that requires services, including warehouses or commercial buildings.

This conduit system can be purchased separately. Enquire today to find out more or place an order.
